11/21/2023 0 Comments Keep your hands off eizouken genreThe first thing you’ll probably notice about this piece is the unconventional character design. The name “Eizouken” means “Film Club,” which is what the girls end up naming their animation club, as the “anime club” already existed. TLDR: A funny, passionate, beautiful love letter to animation. We also see the absolute need for, and struggles of, trying to manage and direct such passionate creatives. From developing fantastical worlds/societies/technologies to the obsessing over the movement of getting out of a chair, Eizouken lets you feel that same passion. This show acts not only as an educational bit on “here’s the general process of making an anime/animation” but captivatingly portrays the excitement and enthusiasm of the creative process and experience. Eizouken is a beautiful, creative love letter to animation and the entire process behind it, with fantastic characters as our guides. TheAwersome’s Thoughts: If you have ever taken an interest in art or animation past “I’ll watch animated things sometimes” then you will love this piece. Sensing a money-making opportunity, Kanamori suggests that they start an animation club, beginning the trio’s journey of producing animation that will awe the world. While Asakusa is interested in backgrounds and settings, Misuzaki loves drawing the human form. After a chance encounter where the two “save” the young model Tsubame Misuzaki from her overprotective bodyguard, a connection instantly sparks between Asakusa and Misuzaki, as both share an intense passion for art and animation. The pair are stark opposites, with Asakusa’s childlike wonder contrasted by Kanamori’s calculated approach to life. She is only brought back to reality by her best friend Sayaka Kanamori. Premise: Always having her nose in a sketchbook, Asakusa draws detailed landscapes and backgrounds of both the world around her and the one within her boundless imagination. TheAwersome Rating: 9.0 / 10 (Beautiful art about beautiful art)

11/20/2023 0 Comments Subsonic 300 blackout ammo fps30-caliber projectiles to supersonic velocities in a 35mm case requires small, lightweight bullets. 300 Blackout, both supersonic and subsonic rounds are available for different purposes. The crack is just like the sonic boom heard from jets breaking the sound barrier, albeit on a much smaller scale. When a bullet breaks the sound barrier (about 1,150 fps or 767 MPH, give or take based on altitude and atmospheric conditions), it makes a loud CRACK in addition to any BOOM or BANG from the cartridge’s ignition. Subsonic is slower than the speed of sound. Anything that travels at a supersonic rate travels faster (super) than the speed of sound (sonic). 300 Blackout ammo products, there’s an important distinction to be made concerning supersonic and subsonic ammunition. But they’re both fairly common among shooters, which speaks to the versatility of the Blackout. The use cases of these two barrel lengths are very different. 300 Blackout range from 16 inches to 5.5 inches. A 20-inch barreled rifle is unwieldy in tight confines. This is good news to urban commandos who fight and train inside buildings and out of vehicles. In fact, it can be argued that it even excels in shorter barrels. 300 Blackout is less affected by velocity. Unlike the velocity-dependent 55-grain M193 5.56, which yields the best terminal performance when fired from a 20-inch barrel, the. Because of this, the Blackout is no speed demon - but it’s an extremely versatile cartridge that excels in both long and short barrels.įirearm barrel length is the most critical determining factor for velocity and kinetic energy with any cartridge, and perhaps more so for the. This reduced the case capacity for gunpowder. Ten millimeters were lopped off the top of the 5.56 case to make room for the oversized. This is shorter than the 5.56 NATO’s 45mm. He deliberately aims to cause the most pain possible to Envy - scarring his tongue, boiling his eyes, roasting him alive again and again. As a piece of animation, the fight looks undeniably cool as a part of a story meant to evoke emotion, it does not glorify Mustang’s actions. I agree with Epi wholeheartedly when he writes that the way Mustang goes about avenging Hughes’ death is “mega creepy”, which is absolutely intended, and, I think, would be pretty clear even without Ed speaking with Scar and expressing concern about the dark cloud surrounding Mustang’s heart. I won’t say whether the Mustang/Envy battle is better animated than on the manga page, but for me, at least, seeing it in motion really does bring to life the heat of the fight, and how utterly cold it is as well. And sometimes anime turns out to be really effective because actually seeing something in motion brings an immediate, visceral quality to the scene. Sometimes an anime diminishes the impact of certain manga scenes, just because anime art tends to be simpler than manga art because it’s just plain easier to animate that way. Being a work in full color, the anime can’t really go that route, but it does an admirable job in making the character design and action suitably kinetic, hard-edged and dangerous, and there are also some simple directing tricks (the fisheye lens, which has been used before in the series) to show the distortion of Mustang’s revenge.Įven in the most faithful of adaptations, there is going to be a difference between what is depicted on the pages of a manga and what is depicted in full motion. Certain scenes - such as this battle and the Lust/Mustang battle from a while back - are done in an even more extreme, black and white style reminds me a bit of Frank Miller’s Sin City (except in that comic the black-and-white style is a constant). Up to this point in the manga, Arakawa’s art subtly shifts from a softer sort of look in the beginning to a harder-edged look that reflects the growth of Ed and Al, and how deep the darkness that consumes Amestris is. Unlike many pieces of fiction that purport to be anti-violence/war/whatever while simultaneously glamorizing it, the art, animation and direction in this episode makes the one-sided battle between Mustang and Envy interesting to look at while not pissing all over the feeling that Mustang’s vengeance is supposed to evoke, which is that it threatens to make him as cold and inhuman as the Homunculi themselves are. I don’t believe I would raise my hand in the name of vengeance (not a particularly violent person), but I can’t say with 100 percent certain that I would not be tempted, even a little bit. Who among us would not wish ill will upon someone who wronged us, or a great friend, so egregiously? There is a line between killing because one has to (in self-defense/defense of a country/city/whatever) and killing because one wants to - Mustang is willingly crossing this line, and the truly scary thing is that he crosses the line for a reason that is perfectly understandable, and morally gray. Correct me if I am wrong, but Mustang never seems to refer to what he does as “justice” he knows what he is doing is for his own satisfaction, and he is familiar with the depths of darkness into which he threatens to sink. However, while Mustang’s Lust barbeque 34 episodes back (has it really been that long?) sent many a fan - including myself - into hysterics at his badassery, there was also a coldness to his attack that is taken to a further extreme here.Īnd why shouldn’t it? Mustang has made no bones (lol) about his goal in hunting the homunculi: He wants to find the one who killed Hughes, and exact vengeance. There is no doubt that Mustang brings the pain to Envy in a swift, brutal matter - it’s almost unfair, actually, and I might be inclined to feel some pity for Envy if he weren’t such an enormous asshole. How hot are the flames of revenge? Hot enough to boil a homunculus’ eyes and burn his tongue out. 11/20/2023 0 Comments Pontoon float tube for saleWith great prices on women's swimwear, paddle boards, men's swimwear and much more, check out the full water sports equipment range online or in-store today.Ĭheck out our helpful buying guides below to learn more about choosing the right watersport inflatables, gear and essentials for you. After about 3 months they finally "looked" at the car, and came up with a bunch of stuff that was wrong with it, but I also don't know if they just did that to get me to go away because they "looked" at it really fast. I took it to a local dealership, and got into a big fight with them about somethings. The power to the car turns on, but the car itself will not turn on. I am afraid to run the radio and AC/heat for fear that it may increase the chance of stalling. I avoid coming to a full stop at a stop sign and am terrified of some one driving in front of making a left hand turn and I would have to stop in the middle of the road. And now a month later it stalled on me yesterday afternoon and was really trying to stall again today. He said the computer reads as everything is ok and suspected I had bad gas (for 2 months?) and charged me $171.00. The mechanic kept my card for 5 days and had it out 7 times to test drive and found nothing wrong. I had to have the car towed, but of course it started for the tow truck driver. 2 weeks later as i was driving to work my car stalled at a busy intersection. they said it was fuel filter and it cost, including my inspection, $460.00. At first they thought it was an air filter, inexpensive but did not solve the problem. I have been having problems for 3 months with my Cobalt stalling. This year is the first time these cut offs have ever happened, and the only solution I have now is to trade it in for a foreign car. I have owned this car for alost four years and bought it new. I was always advised that you should never by the first model year of car because the dealer hasn't worked out all the kinks yet. It seems to have started when the gas crisis was going on.I thought it may have been bad gas at first, but after reading all the comments below, I think that it is a defect in the model year. I come to the light, stop, and proceed all to find out that the car has cut off once again. Recently, Atlanta installed traffic lights at the entry of the highway to ease congestion for those accessing the highway. What a lemon!!!!!!!!!!!!įor some time now, my car has been cutting off.while I am backing up, while I am turning a corner, while I am driving down the highway in Atlanta!!!!! (Some of the meanest, busiest highways you'll ever find) I am so scared that I will be plummeted by a huge SUV in the middle of the commute home. So I asked them, "What do I do now? Drive a broken unfixable car?" If they can't fix the issue and as winter comes and my car shuts of while I am driving in the snow.I would rather not cause a wreck. Superior Chevy couldn't find anything wrong. They couldn't find anything wrong with the car after working on it for a total of 6 six hours. I took my Cobalt to Superior Chevy in Merriam, KS. It finally turned over and again just as the first time, the car jerked hard whenever it shifted to a lower or higher gear. I tried to turn my car back on but it didn't turn over the first couple of times. It was about 11:45PM and completely dark and was afraid I was going to cause an accident because no one could see me. About one after passing the toll in Lawerence, KS my car randomly shut off at cruising speed of 70mph. Pulpulaks are erected in memory of dead relatives and it so happens that by drinking from a pulpulak a passer-by gives a bow and his blessing to the person in whose memory the pulpulak was constructed. The pulpulak is a special small stone memorial, about a meter in height, with clean and, in most cases, mountain spring water. In Armenia, public water fountains – pulpulaks – are a significant part of culture. You can say that there is another city that lies hidden under the square’s paving stones. And you can imagine the surprise the builders got when, after removing an old layer of asphalt, they discovered deep pits, remains of stone walls, finished black and red tufa stone slabs, roof tiles and clay vessel fragments and even tufa stone water mains! The newly discovered structures went deep under the nearby buildings and, unfortunately, there was no way they could be left uncovered without compromising the square’s functional integrity. The square was most recently renovated in 2003. Note the carved balcony and window eaves, beautiful, aren't they? Then follows the Central Post Office building, the hotel Marriott Armenia and the hotel of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Energy. Reboot your Mac while you hold Command+Option+P+R during restart. Lots more information on Disk Utility here. If problems are found with Disk Permissions you can fix these using this app, but you cannot fix the startup app, for this you’ll need to start in Recovery Mode (Command-R). If the Mac you are working with just doesn’t seem “right”, you should launch Disk Utility and “Verify Disk Permissions” and/or “Verify Disk”. The Disk Utility app ( Applications>Utilities) is Apple’s Swiss Army knife for most problems. It is possible the Mac is the problem, so restart it while holding down Option-D, which launches Apple’s hardware test to uncover any hardware problems on the Mac. Sometimes changing the security protocol you use, from WPA/WPA2 to WPA2/WPA seems to resolve wireless connection difficulties. You can use this tool to assess signal strength and help assess the quality of your network over time, as explained here. If you find you are sharing a channel with others nearby, it helps to change the channel on your router to one the other networks aren't using. The first thing to check is what channel your network is on in comparison with other networks in your area. Next you should open the Utilities Window via the Menu bar (Command-4). To get a look at that, Option-click on the Wi-Fi icon in your Menu bar and select "Open Wireless Diagnostics in the drop-down menu that appears. There are several potential causes for this but the main culprit is usually neighboring networks on the same “channel” as your own. You’ve reset everything and things still don’t seem right? It’s possible that network interference is the problem. Wireless networks are no exception, and almost without fail you’ll see improvement if you switch off all your kit, including your AirPort unit and broadband modem and router, leave it a few minutes and then switch it all on again in this order: Modem, Router AirPort unit Macs and other devices. In my opinion the fastest way to resolve 99% of almost every common iOS or OS X problem is to restart all your device(s). That’s just a complicated way to say switch the router off and then switch it on again, so why not try it now before you call them up? Reset everything If the steps here don’t resolve your problem the first thing your ISP’s tech support crew will ask you to do is to reset the router. On a Mac you do this using the AirPort menu bar, or using Control Center on iOS devices (there are other ways, but those are the quickest to find). Sometimes the quickest fix is to just turn AirPort off on your Macs and devices for a few moments and then turn it on again. You’ve even done the right thing and made sure you’re running the latest software on all the devices you keep on your network, but still you got problems. Web sites and emails are taking forever to download video and TV shows are stuttering, online communication you know is coming in your direction isn’t reaching the in-box, and/or using AirDrop to share files between the Macs on your network is taking an age. What are we addicted to? The attention-grabbing Internet, that’s what, and keeping our wireless network in good shape is critical to the way we live today, at work and at play. Many of us are addicted to the extent that we get depressed and moody if we go without it. 11/20/2023 0 Comments Working remotely challengesIt makes it harder to create more profound and meaningful connections with your co-workers and to feel integrated into the team.
